In 1918, the 102nd Engineers undertook a motor convoy from Camp Wadsworth, South Carolina, to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, that brought them through the Old North State. Their journey was documented by a film crew, capturing two North Carolina sites: King’s Mountain (2:43-2:54) and the Yadkin River (2:55-3:18). Modern viewers should be warned: there is no audio and the film is in black and white!
