The N.C. Department of Cultural Resources presented a webcast on the history and science of Civil War artillery on March 11, 2014, from Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site in Johnston County. The webcast covers everything from the different types of artillery and projectiles used during the war, to the science behind black powder. An archived version of the program can be found below.
