Artifacts recovered from the wreck Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge are going on tour across North Carolina. This is your chance to see actual treasures recovered from the shipwreck site and conserved at the project lab in Greenville. This free exhibit includes a range of artifacts including weaponry, nautical tools and personal items and is accompanied at each site by programming for both children and adults at each site.
The exhibit also includes multimedia displays explaining how artifacts are preserved and what life was like aboard the ship.
The traveling exhibit will be visiting a number of North Carolina state historic sites across the state. The exhibit will make six-week stops at 10 different sites throughout the rest of the year. A schedule of the tour appears below. Click on a site name for a map and directions.
