Presenter: Professor Troy Alphin, UNCW Ph.D. candidate

Join UNCW Professor Troy D. Alphin as we learn about shoreline conservation programs! These programs improve water quality, marine life habitats, oyster growth, erosion reduction, and protection from boat wake, jsut to name a few. He will discuss the use of bagged oyster shell reefs, breakwater, and bulkhead alternatives as well as the role of Spartine Grasses along the shoreline.
