3rd Tuesday: Where have all the Longleaf gone?

Presenter: Dr. Robert Miller

What once used to cover 92 million acres, now covers only 4 million. From land manipulation to economic gains, the longleaf have swiftly disappeared from our environment. North Carolina and the Southeastern United States work hard to restore these ecosystems. Dr. Miller will dsicuss their diversity, ecological requirements and the Orer of the Long Leaf Pine.
