Find a trail near you The North Carolina Trails Program oversees the creation and maintenance of this wide system of trails that we have in our state. Recreate Responsibly The Recreate Responsibly guidelines offer a starting point for getting outside to keep yourself healthy and to maintain access to our beloved natural spaces. NC State Parks Events & Programs From fishing lessons to astronomy programs, from tree identification hikes to kite workshops, our parks offer a variety of learning opportunities for all ages. Brunswick Town and Fort Anderson Trails through this beautiful historic site are enhanced with outdoor exhibits that tell the history of the colonial town, the exposed foundations, and Fort Anderson.
