Annual Women’s History Lunch: Celebrate African American women in the Arts

Event Description

Annual Women’s History Lunch: Celebrate African American women in the Arts. Join us for our second annual Women's History Lunch as we focus on celebrating African American women in the Arts. Over a catered lunch, listen to how Dr. Brown and Palmer Memorial Institute contributed to the field.

We are happy to announce that our keynote speaker for this year’s lunch is Sunny Gravely! She is a local Greensboro artist who's artwork has been displayed at various locations throughout Greensboro, Atlanta, and New York. You can learn more about her at https://www.sgravelyoriginals.com. Throughout the program, enjoy watching a dance performance and listening to songs from local Greensboro artists.

Tickets are NOW on sale at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/womens-history-lunch-celebrate-women-in-the...! Ticket prices are $18 per person. Groups and organizations connected to Dr. Brown or those that serve women in the community are eligible for a discount on table purchasing.
