It’s been 400 years since Sir Walter Raleigh lost his head. Join us at the Capitol for a chance to “meet” him on Thursday, October 25th from 7-9pm. Your ticket gets you wine, appetizers, and a special release beer - True Britt: The Sir Walter Raleigh honorary brew - from Lonerider Brewing. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum, the NC State Capitol Foundation, and the Triangle Chapter of the British-American Business Council. 

Tickets are $20 per person until October 5th and then go up to $25 per person. Get your tickets soon!

The Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum is a 501c(3) non-profit that supports the mission of the City of Raleigh Museum through fundraising and other initiatives. As part of its mission to “Preserve Raleigh’s Past for the Future,” the COR Museum collects and cares for artifacts, curates exhibits, and provides educational programming that all highlight and interpret Raleigh’s history and heritage.

The North Carolina State Capitol Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit that seeks to further educational opportunities at the Capitol and to encourage the continual restoration and interpretation of this important civic building. By raising both awareness and funds, the Foundation continues to transform the State Capitol into a site that will educate and inspire generations to come.
