Author Warren Bingham will be at the North Carolina History Center Saturday, May 14, from 2-4 p.m., for a lecture and book signing in support of his new book, "George Washington's 1791 Southern Tour."
Bingham's book reveals the history and lore of Washington and his survey of the newly formed southern United States, including a stop to New Bern and Tryon Palace.
The lecture will begin at 2 p.m. in Cullman Performance Hall with a book signing to follow around 3 p.m.
