N.C. History Day can provide FREE access to "WeVideo for Schools" to teachers and their documentary students. WeVideo is an online platform designed to provide safe and secure video editing tools to school age children. The accounts we can provide give full platform access so students can create and export videos with ease and teachers can monitor progress and provide feedback.

Email nchistoryday@dncr.nc.gov with questions or to get set-up with account access for you and your students.

We do not want the cost of materials to stand in the way of students choosing the exhibit category.  Though supplies are limited please email nchistoryday@dncr.nc.gov to discuss arranging free exhibit boards for students.

National History Day® has partnered with NoodleTools to help teachers doing NHD for the first time assist their students with tracking their sources and building their annotated bibliographies. Teachers can sign up and receive account access for all of their students for one year. The program allows teachers to see the progress their students have made and offer direct electronic feedback.

If you no longer have access to NoodleTools trial first year and your school is unable to get a subscription, checkout MyBib which is both ad-free and free to use.  It allows students to generate citations in both Chicago Manual Style and MLA formats.
