North Carolina Symphony

Offering more than 175 performances annually in Tar Heel communities large and small, the North Carolina Symphony's repertoire is nearly as diverse as the towns and cities it serves.

From selections from the greatest hits of classical music like Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 to fan favorites from the world's best films to engaging concerts of accessible music specifically chosen with kids in mind, the nation's first state-supported symphony offers something for everyone.

The symphony also puts on nearly 50 free educational concerts around the state, and a host of other programs geared toward kids.

If you've never been to a performance before, check out the symphony's website for tips for beginners and directions and parking information.
