A Victorian Valentines Workshop

Event Description

Valentine’s Day Cards have been around since the 1400s, in fact the first Valentine’s Day cards were sent by Charles, Duke of Orleans, who was being held prisoner in England, to his wife back in France. By the 19th century Valentine’s Day Cards could be found in just about any stationary shop. Historic Bath invites you to come to this very special Victorian Valentine’s Workshop, on Thursday, February 8, at 10:00. Learn the interesting history of the holiday and make your very own Victorian Valentine. Cost for the workshop is $10.00; pre-registration is required as space is limited.
