Holiday music will welcome visitors to a heartwarming traditional Christmas with seasonal decorations of fresh greenery and floral arrangements at the 28th Annual Somerset Place Christmas Open House Sunday, Dec. 3, 1 to 4 p.m. Enjoy and experience a festive holiday season with sights, sounds and natural decorations on the exterior and interior of buildings and wishes of good cheer.

Don’t forget the food! Experience historic interpreters in period dress who prepare hearth-cooked black-eyed peas and cornbread from the fireplace. Freshly brewed hot spiced tea and decadent homemade desserts await you.

Jolly ol’ St. Nick himself will greet younger visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Collins House. All the buildings will be open and available for self-guided tours. Share the spirit of the holidays at this free program, where donations are welcomed.
