B. Everett Jordan Historical Highway Marker Missing

The N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, which manages the North Carolina Highway Historical Marker Program, requests the public’s help in locating a missing historical marker about B. Everett Jordan.

The marker was located on NC 87 at Church Road southwest of Saxapahaw. Around Nov. 10 a citizen noticed the marker was broken and lying on the ground, but it has since been removed. A webpage about the marker can be found online at http://www.ncmarkers.com/Markers.aspx?MarkerId=D-95.
