The Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum at the Palmer Memorial Institute State Historic Site is thrilled to announce a new program in collaboration with the Town of Sedalia! The "Christmas in Sedalia" program will be the first Tree Lighting Ceremony in the history of the Town of Sedalia and will take place Dec. 10 on the campus of the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum.
This free program will take place from 5-8 p.m., with live music performed by the Eastern Guilford High School Chorus, the Pointe College Prep and Leadership Academy Chorus, Ragsdale High School Chorus, Kidz Notes, and a special performance by the Greensboro Choral Society. There will be an outdoor Holiday Bazaar where local vendors will be selling their wares, crafts for kids, and even Santa himself will be in attendance. Music will be performed throughout the event and the Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring Sedalia Mayor Howard Morgan and Site Manager Tanesha Anthony will begin at 7:30 p.m. outside of Kimball Hall.
