The Federation of North Carolina Historical Societies is a coalition of historical societies, museums, historic sites, associations, and commissions dedicated to preserving and promoting history in North Carolina. This statewide network of history organizations collaborates to share ideas, develop skills, and serve as local partners for DNCR's Office of Archives and History.
Led by an advisory board made up of member representing historical organizations from across the state, the Federation encourages membership for any group in North Carolina concerned with history, whether on a local, regional, or state level.
