North Carolina Literary & Historical Association
North Carolina Literary and Historical Association, established in 1900, is among the oldest organizations of its kind in the nation. Its history is interlinked with that of the North Carolina Office of Archives and History.
Members receive the North Carolina Historical Review, the North Carolina Literary Review and mailings about the annual meeting and special lectures and symposia.
In addition to our annual meeting each November, we sponsor or co-sponsor a number of symposia and other programs throughout the year. We'll post more details about our annual meetings and those other programs on this page as they become available.
Registration for our 2016 Annual Meeting of the N.C. Literary and Historical Association is now open. The event takes place the weekend of Friday, November 18 at the Doubletree by Hilton-Brownstone Hotel.
